One farm. One family.
A whole lot of care.
Meet the Rapson family and the Iowa farm behind Country View Dairy.

A family dream takes root.
Dave and Carolee Rapson moved from Michigan to Northeast Iowa in 2002 to start their own dairy farm. Carolee brought a family connection to farming, and Dave brought years of hands-on experience caring for a dairy herd.
By 2011, with five children and the future of the farm in mind, they saw an opportunity in the yogurt Carolee had been making at home.
Fresh milk.
A very short journey.
In September 2011, the family opened a state-certified creamery on the farm. Milk travels less than 50 feet from the milk house to become farmstead yogurt.
Frozen yogurt joined the lineup in 2013, followed by cream-line milk and Barista’s Best in 2019.

The farm behind every spoonful.
Our yogurt is made with Grade A pasteurized milk from our own cows. Non-homogenized milk keeps its cream-line character. Our yogurt recipes use natural ingredients without gelatin, preservatives, or artificial ingredients.
From our farm store to the businesses that carry our products, we want more people to enjoy dairy with a connection to the family that makes it.
Let's make room for something good.
